May 7 & 8, 2024  •  PDH Qualifying Event

Join us for this two-day event focused on the design, fabrication, installation, and inspection of metal plate connected wood trusses with a special focus on parallel chord wood trusses used in roof design.

The first day will be a classroom presentation from the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), Truss Plate Institute (TPI), MiTek Industries, and Builders FirstSource (Spenard Building Supply). Day 2 will include a truss plant tour in the morning, with an opportunity for engineering firms to schedule an individual site visit with staff from SBCA, TPI, MiTek, and BFS in the afternoon. This will provide engineering firms an opportunity to discuss onsite structures they are currently reviewing.

Participants can sign up for one or both days of the event. Day 1 will be eligible for 5 PDHs.
