SBCA Innovation Grant
In an effort to cultivate innovation in the structural building components and framing industry, the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) created the SBCA Innovation Grant in 2023. Each grant is awarded to a company or individual with an innovative product, tool, service, machine, idea, and so forth, that advances the building component industry.

Applications for the 2025 Innovation Grant will open on April 1, 2025. A panel will review the submitted applications and select the recipients of the 2025 SBCA Innovation Grant. The SBCA Innovation Grant Recipients will have the opportunity to showcase their submitted solutions at BCMC 2025. Attendees at the show will vote to select the 2025 People’s Choice Innovator, which will be announced on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at the conclusion of BCMC. The People’s Choice Innovator will also receive promotional coverage by SBCA throughout the following year.
The SBCA Innovation Grant Recipients will receive up to:
- One 10x10 booth = 100 sf valued at $3,290
- Three exhibit passes for the entirety of BCMC valued at $1,890
- Press Release announcements of 2025 SBCA Innovation Grant Recipients
- The chance to be named the 2025 People’s Choice Innovator, with publicity in SBCA Magazine’s January/February 2026 issue and a feature in SBCA’s Industry News.
