Building materials supplier 84 Lumber opened a new branch location in Commerce Charter Township, Mich. The store location is the first in Michigan for 84 Lumber.
The Commerce Charter Township location includes a 42,000 square foot facility with an extensive warehouse and spacious showroom. The space includes roofing, trim, treated lumber, windows, doors, and more.
“The construction market is flourishing in Michigan, with a great amount of single-[family] and multifamily homes being built,” Tyler Haas, the Commerce Charter Township store general manager, said in a news release. “We are excited to be a part of this competitive market and to continue growing within the Commerce Township community.”
Eighty Four, Pa.-based 84 Lumber said it plans to expand into new and existing markets around the company to keep pace with its record growth. The company supplies building materials and manufactured components. 84 Lumber operates more than 250 stores, components manufacturing plants, custom door shops, custom millwork shops, and engineered wood product centers in over 30 states. The company also offers turnkey installation services for a variety of products, including framing, insulation, siding, windows, roofing, decking, and drywall.
