Talia Zanotelli

Talia Zanotelli is SBCA’s Membership Coordinator; she has been with SBCA for over three years, serving as the first point of contact for the association’s membership. Talia is another that SBCA members are probably very familiar with, whether from working with her to get set up as a member, meeting at an OQM or BCMC, or on the golf course each year for the NFC Charity Golf Tournament. Talia has been a solid resource for both SBCA and NFC membership.

One of Talia’s biggest responsibilities is guiding new members as they enter the association in order to get the most out of the SBCA and/or NFC membership benefits. In her role, it is important to ensure that both incoming and existing members are knowledgeable of all that SBCA and NFC have to offer. Talia is very friendly, organized, passionate, and driven, which allows her to be efficient and successful in her daily tasks. From coordinating committee or chapter meetings and events to recruiting new members for the association, Talia is very passionate about building relationships with SBCA and NFC members. She is excited to continue her work assisting with the resurgence of several inactive chapters. Talia is proud of all that has been accomplished by the SBCA chapters and committees, and the work and progress of the National Framers Council (NFC).

With a wide range of experience in customer service, event production, social media marketing, and administration within various industries such as, telecommunications, staffing, and agriculture, Talia contributes a unique perspective and many useful skills to the team. One of her more interesting and favorite experiences was coordinating and planning mutton bustin’ events. Mutton bustin’ is a rodeo event typically held for children, introducing them to the world of rodeo sports. Talia was involved in ensuring the safety of the participants and sheep, as well as providing memorable experiences for all involved. She worked with logistic coordination, participation engagement, and event planning. No matter how she was involved, whether behind the scenes ensuring a smooth execution of the events or hyping up the young riders before their turn, her experience in mutton bustin’ taught her how to thrive in dynamic and adrenaline-filled environments.

“Talia is a wonderful teammate and an excellent Membership Coordinator. She's always ready to jump in where she's needed, and it's been a joy to watch her cultivate relationships with our members over the last three years," says Molly Butz, SBCA’s Managing Director. “I recently had the opportunity to work alongside her at the National Framers Council golf outing and it's clear how comfortable they all feel having her oversee their varied events. I look forward to the future and the value Talia will bring to our endeavors.”

Working closely with the National Framers Council has made a positive impact on its success and progress. “Talia is great to work with; she always has a great attitude and is an essential part of our NFC team,” says Chris Breedlove, President of Ace Carpentry, and President of NFC. “Her involvement with meetings, events, day-to-day communications, amongst other things, helps keep us organized and moving in the right direction.”

Talia earned a BS in Mass Communications from Colorado State University – Pueblo. Talia resides in Pueblo, CO, the town in which she was born and raised. You can often find Talia out on the water paddleboarding or in the woods camping and bird watching. In her free time, she enjoys playing trivia, spending time with family, and jamming out to tunes in her car. She loves animals and has a 12-year-old dog, Bodhi, and a 9-year-old cat, Alvinka.
