Editor's Message: The Energy and Excitement is Abundant

SBCA Magazine,

We Aren’t Slowing Down, We’re Ramping Up

Having been with SBCA for almost four years now, I can honestly say that this industry is one of a kind. The people are hardworking, passionate, driven, and just downright good and fun to work with. It is refreshing to attend industry events, take tours, and network with this great community. That’s why it’s so easy to get fired up about all the amazing projects and plans SBCA has in store for the next year and the years to follow.

It is inspiring to see the progress SBCA has made as both an association and with the footprint it holds in the greater industry. With the potential and opportunities in the future, it’s important to reflect on the past in order to plan for what lies ahead. There is no slowing down, there is only ramping up.

This time of year is always full of energy and enthusiasm. The industry is booming with ideas, business, and innovations, gearing up to gather for BCMC to showcase the wonderful things exhibitors have been working on and offering out in the world.

Back in Milwaukee at the Baird Center, the show is not only bigger and better with over 100 exhibitors (see pages 65-69) and over 65,000 square feet of show floor space sold (see pages 70-71), but the convention center is newly renovated with the North Building, where BCMC will occur. This four-story convention center is the perfect setting for attendees and exhibitors to expand their knowledge, build their book of business, and showcase their expertise. From education sessions and demonstrations on the show floor of cutting-edge technologies to the SBCA Foundation Dinner, the bike ride or 5K run/walk, there is something for everyone.

Thank you to all involved in the various aspects of this association. We couldn’t do it without you, and we appreciate your continued support of and dedication to SBCA and the betterment of this industry.
