Tibbetts Lumber Appoints Stauter as President & CEO

Tibbetts Lumber has announced that the company’s leadership has appointed David Stauter as president and chief operating officer. Stauter assumed day-to-day leadership of the company effective Jan. 5. Stauter, a lumber industry veteran, has served most recently as the company’s senior vice president since 2019.
“It has been an incredible career experience to serve as a senior vice president of the company, and I am tremendously proud of everything we have accomplished together. I am extremely thankful for all the support given to me by the entire Tibbetts Lumber team, and I am excited for the great things I know we will accomplish going forward” said Stauter.
“The Board is extremely confident that David is the perfect person to take our company to the next level,” said Russ Hallenbeck, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Tibbetts. “He is a seasoned leader with significant experience, and we are blessed to have him as our next president.”
Before joining Tibbetts, Stauter held multiple leadership positions with organizations including: Scotty’s, Cox Lumber Co., HD Supply, Pro-Build, and Builders First Source.
Tibbetts Lumber Co. serves regional and custom/semi-custom builders and remodelers with locations in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Largo, Ocala, Crystal River, Melbourne, and Fort Myers, Florida. Primary business lines include roof and floor trusses, lumber and building materials, windows, interior and exterior doors.
