SBCA’s Financial Performance Survey is back and available for submissions, with the deadline extended to Friday, August 2nd. This survey is significantly easier to fill out, requiring much less time and effort to complete. While participation in this survey is voluntary, it is highly recommended to gain insights into how your operation compares to other regional and national manufacturers. “The Financial Performance Survey is crucial as it provides invaluable insights into the component industry trends and benchmarks, allowing businesses to make informed decisions and strategize effectively for future planning,” says Shawn Overholtzer, SVP Components at Builders FirstSource and Co-Chair of the SBCA Management Committee. “The data gathered helps companies understand their position as it relates to the market and identify areas for growth and improvement.”
Only those that participate in the 2024 Financial Performance Survey will receive free access to the report; survey results are not available to non-members, associates, or non-participating component manufacturers. Additionally, all responses will be confidential and not available to any member of SBCA. The final report will contain consolidated figures only, and no company-specific information will be identified will be shared.
"Whether you use it as a scorecard, validation, or piece of mind, the Financial Performance Survey is an important benefit for SBCA members," says Roger Helgeson, President of The Truss Company and Chair of the SBCA Management Committee. "The new, more user-friendly format will help to boost participation significantly." The purpose of this survey is to provide a means of collecting information that, when compiled, will assist SBCA members in making business financial decisions by comparing their relative performance to industry norms. Contribute to this survey to ensure access to the report and gain helpful insights into the world of structural building components. Take some time to check out the survey and complete it by Friday, August 2nd.
