The National Framers Council (NFC) is pleased to announce several leadership position transitions, effective October 2024. After four years of dedicated service, Chris Breedlove, President of Ace Carpentry, Inc., will transition from his role as NFC President to NFC Past-President. Taking the helm as the new NFC President is Pedro Loureiro, President of Nomad Framing. Additionally, NFC is introducing a new position to its leadership roster: NFC Vice President, which will be filled by David Schultz, Co-Founder of Simple Homes. In 2025, David will assume the role of NFC President following Pedro’s term. Together, Chris, Pedro, and David will continue to serve on the NFC Steering Committee, leading the way for the National Framers Council to further its mission and achieve its goals, while supporting and guiding its membership.

“It has been an incredible honor to serve in this role the last few years alongside a tremendous NFC Steering Committee and wonderful SBCA staff,” says Chris Breedlove. “I have truly enjoyed every minute of it, appreciate all the hard work an effort our membership pours into this organization each day to better our industry, and value all of the relationships that have come from it. I am excited to stay involved with the NFC as Past-President and member of the NFC Steering Committee. We have a lot to look forward to as the page turns with Pedro and David stepping into the leadership roles of NFC. They are going to be a dynamic duo with their combined experience, motivation, and knowledge. It is with great pride that I leave you in the capable hands of Pedro and David.”

“I am honored to be elected as President of the National Framers Council for this interim term,” says Pedro Loureiro. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the NFC Steering Committee and the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) for entrusting me with this responsibility once again. It is a privilege to serve such a dedicated and hardworking industry. I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Chris Breedlove for his remarkable leadership and dedication over the past three years. His commitment has been instrumental in advancing our mission, and I look forward to building upon the foundation he has established. Thank you to everyone for your continued support, and I am excited to work together to drive forward the initiatives that will shape our industry’s future.”

“I’m honored to be considered for the NFC Vice President role,” says David Schutlz. “This is an incredible group of framers and I’m looking forward to working with Pedro, SBCA staff, and the members to provide as much value to our members as we can.”

The National Framers Council is excited to continue progressing its mission with its new leadership and what that will bring in the years ahead.
