SBCA Provides Innovative Housing Showcase Event Breakdown

The National Mall is already transforming for HUD’s Innovative Housing Showcase in Washington, D.C. The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), along with the International Code Council (ICC), the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI), and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), will co-present this year’s event with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), June 7-9, 2024. There are many interesting and innovative housing solutions to see on the Mall; we are excited to be one of them, featuring SBCA’s build with floor panels, roof truss panels, and wall panels. Be sure to check it out and follow along as we exhibit a two-story home built in under eight (8) hours!

Tuesday, June 4, 2024 – Media Preview & Congressional Preview Reception
Thursday, June 6-Friday, June 7 – Innovative Housing Showcase Educational Sessions (9:30am-5pm ET)
Friday, June 7, 2024 – Innovative Housing Showcase Opening Ceremony (9am ET)
Join us on the National Mall between 10th Street SW & 12th Street SW off Jefferson St., for an event ceremony kick-off! The Showcase opens immediately following the kick-off.
Friday, June 7, 2024 – Innovative Housing Showcase Exhibitor Reception (5pm-7pm ET)
Join us on the National Mall between 10th Street SW & 12th Street SW, across from the Smithsonian Castle, for an Exhibitor Reception.
Friday, June 7-Sunday, June 9 – Innovative Housing Showcase (times below)

Saturday, June 8: 10am-4pm ET

In addition to the weekend show, SBCA will be keeping its two-story building on the National Mall for one extra day. On Monday, June 10th, those in the area for NAHB’s Spring Leadership Meetings and Legislative Conference are invited to stop by for a tour of SBCA’s two-story built home. These tours will begin at 10am ET.
